NEET 2026 Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026 (born on or before 31 December 2009)
• Maximum Age: No upper age limit (as per Supreme Court ruling)
• Nationality: Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible
• Relaxations: No additional age relaxations; reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) get relaxation only in Class 12 qualifying marks

NEET 2026 Educational Qualification

• Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects
• Minimum Aggregate in PCB:
  • General/EWS: 50%
  • SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD: 40%
• No limit on number of attempts
• Candidates appearing for Class 12 in 2026 are eligible (results must be declared before counselling)
