Lesson 65: Causative Verbs – Make, Get, Have, Let — English Practice

Causative Verbs indicate that the subject causes another person to perform an action (जब कर्ता स्वयं कार्य न करके किसी अन्य से करवाता है।).

Make indicates force or strict command. Structure: [Subject] + [make] + [Person] + [V1 (Base Verb - no "to")]. e.g., He made me laugh.

Get indicates persuasion or hiring. Structure: [Subject] + [get] + [Person] + [to + V1]. e.g., I got him to wash my car (wash with "to").
