Grammar Rules — Common Errors

Redundancy refers to using unnecessary words that repeat the same meaning (अनावश्यक शब्दों का दोहराव।). e.g., "revert back" (use revert), "return back" (use return).

Double Negatives occur when two negative words are used in the same clause, making it positive (एक वाक्य में दो नकारात्मक शब्दों का उपयोग न करें।). e.g., "I don't know nothing" is incorrect; say "I don't know anything".

Avoid combining "hardly / scarcely / unless" with "not". e.g., "He can hardly not speak" is incorrect; say "He can hardly speak".
