Grammar Rules — Pronouns

Reflexive Pronouns are used when the subject and object are the same (जब कर्ता और कर्म एक ही व्यक्ति हों।). e.g., myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves. Structure: [Subject] + [Verb] + [Reflexive Pronoun]. e.g., He hurt himself.

They are also used for emphasis (Emphatic Pronouns) to show who did the action (किसी कार्य पर जोर देने के लिए।). Structure: [Subject] + [Reflexive Pronoun] + [Verb]. e.g., I myself solved the puzzle (मैंने खुद यह हल किया।).

Do not use reflexive pronouns as subjects (कभी भी वाक्य की शुरुआत Reflexive Pronouns से न करें।). e.g., "Myself Amit" is incorrect; say "I am Amit" or "My name is Amit".
