Grammar Rules — Pronouns

Relative Pronouns connect clauses or sentences, referring back to a noun mentioned earlier (दो वाक्यों या उपवाक्यों को जोड़ने वाले सर्वनाम शब्द।). e.g., who, whom, whose, which, that.

Use 'Who' for people as subjects, and 'Which' for things/animals. Structure: [Noun] + [Who/Which] + [Verb clause]. e.g., The man who helped me (वह आदमी जिसने मेरी मदद की।).

Use 'Whose' to show possession or relationship (जिसका/जिसके मालिकाना सम्बन्ध दिखाने के लिए।). Structure: [Noun] + [Whose] + [Possession]. e.g., The boy whose car was stolen.

Practice Examples — वाक्य संरचना उदाहरण

This is the boy who helped me yesterday. (who connects clauses)
I lost the watch which you gave me. (which refers to watch)
The student whose notebook is missing should tell me.
